Eagles Get Losing Season, Redskins Get Star Quarterback
At the start of the off season, no one knew were McNabb was going. The Bills? The Raiders? Is he staying with the Eagles? There were many candidates. However, I don't think anybody could have expected the Washington Redskins to come out on top.
This trade changes the entire NFC East situation. If Portis hadn't got injured early, I think he could have had a 1,000 + rushing yard season. Injuries nagged the Skins, and there was one missing piece to the teams puzzle: A star quarterback. Now as if Allah has answered the prayers of thousands of Skins fans, McNabb has been traded to Washington.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
McNabb has the power to help the whole team. Shannahan does well with good quarterbacks, and McNabb is one of the NFL's elite. Santana Moss, Devin Thomas and Chris Cooley will play like NFL stars last year, because finally they have a star quarterback throwing to them. However, I think that the one who will benefit the most is my favorite player, Clinton Portis. Halfbacks can only continue to succeed if they have a good quarterback to help them. With a balanced offense, other teams can't automatically go to the assumption that Washington will run the ball all the time. They will have to defend the pass, as well as stop the run. Washington, McNabb, Shannahan, Cooley, Thomas, Moss and Portis are in for a great season.
On the other side, things are going bad to worse for Philadalphea. In just 2 years, the Eagles have lost Brian Westbrook, Donavan McNabb, Brian Dawkins, Correl Buckhalter, and Defensive Coordinator Jim Johnson. Face it Philly, the Philadalphea Eagles are the new Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A great team gone terrible do to a terrible spree of releases and trades. Therefore, I do not predict Philly to have a winning season.
Considering that, my final standings are:
Dallas Cowboys: 12-4
Washington Redskins: 10-6
New York Giants: 9-7
Philadalphea Eagles: 3-13
