Six-time Pro Bowl outside linebacker Jason Taylor is serious about signing with the Jets, according to a person familiar with the situation. the person requested anonymity because he not authorized to speak on the Jets' or Taylor's behalf. the 13-year veteran is visiting with the Jets today. "I'd be completely shocked if he left without signing" th person said. "Rex likes those tall, lanky, off-the-edge kind of guys that can wreak havoc." The 6-6, 255-pound Taylor, who had seven sacks and 42 tackles with the Dolphins last year, is an unrestricted free agent. The Jets, of course, are in the market for an edge pass rusher to complement Calvin Pace, who had a tea-high eight sacks last year. There no deal in place as of early wednesday afternoon. Taylor has also drawn interest from the Patriots and Dolphins, who may be interested in resigning him. The Jets want a Super Bowl Ring!
