With the NHL regular season winding down, it's time to start preparing for the NHL’s second season. Sixteen teams will vie for Lord Stanley’s Cup in what’s sure to be an exciting playoffs.
Will the Capitals solve their goaltending situation? Will San Jose keep up their reputation of postseason collapse? How far can the Canadiens make it?
Until we have the answers to those questions, let’s take a look at some sexy hockey fans and their turn with the Cup. Have you ever been so jealous of a piece of metal?

Hayden Panettiere
America’s favorite cheerleader has a passion for sports. She’s recently been linked to boxer Wladimir Klitschko and of course was the pom-poms behind the classic Heroes line, “Save the cheerleader, save the world.”
Emily VanCamp
For those of you as out of touch with ABC’s programming as I am, VanCamp is a Canadian actress who has a role in the Brothers & Sisters series.
Her bonuses include growing up in Ontario in a French-speaking household. Best of all, she’s a Montreal Canadiens fan.
Lindsay Lohan
Okay, so maybe not the hottest chick on the list, but when LiLo has herself together, she ranks up there with the best of them.
This tabloid fixture hasn’t been much of an outspoken hockey fan as other hotties Carrie Underwood or Elisha Cuthbert, but their respective boyfriends have yet to take up the Cup.
Maybe next year we can feature one of them. Yeah, right.
Kristen Bell
Our second Heroes star to make the list, Bell is a diehard Detroit Red Wings fan. Which Wing tickles her fancy the most? “Chris Osgood was my first crush.”
Huh? Really?
“Brad Pitt be damned, he had nothing on Osgood's rookie skill and sad eyes. There was actually a day in high school when I wrote on a name tag 'Mrs. Osgood' and wore it the whole day. I really thought we were perfect for each other. I'd love to meet him and probably apologize that things never worked out.”
Minka Kelly and Adrianne Palicki
Friday Night Lights is a TV show about a football team, but these two ladies showed up at a Maxim event to show their love for the Cup.
Most people know Kelly as Derek Jeter’s fiancé. She plays a cheerleader on TV, plans to marry a baseball star, and loves hockey. What more can we ask for?
Emily Procter
The Raleigh, N.C. native plays Calleigh Duquesne on CSI: Miami. Surprisingly, she offered her services to be a Hurricanes blogger. So how is it possible the smokin’ Southern belle wasn’t ultimately asked to contribute?
"We wanted to focus on the playoff teams," said Nirva Milord, NHL senior manager of corporate communications. "So she's not in." Bummer for 'Canes fans.
Parminder Nagra
She won our hearts playing Dr. Neela Rasgorta on the NBC series ER for six years before the show ended.
Her breakthrough film was Bend It Like Beckham, the story about a teenage soccer player with an affection for David Beckham, which led to her further success as an established actress.
She even won the FIFA Presidential Award in 2002 for her role in promoting women’s soccer across the globe and was also the first woman to be awarded the honor.
A.J. Cook
Another Canadian bombshell, the Oshawa, Ontario native plays Agent Jareau on Criminal Minds. She grew up as a competitive dancer before finally settling on acting.
As for as I can tell, she’s not related to Tom Cook, the former Chicago Blackhawks and Montreal Maroons forward who played in the 1930s. Still, she may be the hottest one on this list.
Hayden Panettiere
I figured it was only appropriate to throw her in one last time. She clearly has an affliction for the Cup, and I’m pretty sure the Cup would feel the same way.
“I'm a big jock and I love sports. ... I swam for years, I played volleyball, I played softball and baseball.” She’s even taken in an L.A. Kings game.
It’s your call: Who didn’t make the list that should have? Do you have the picture to back it up? Who’s the best on the list?
