Lundqvist pulled as Rangers trail Sabres in 2nd
The New York Rangers are fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive in Buffalo tonight. With four three game left and two points separating the Blue Shirts from a spot in the NHL's second season, coach John Tortorella wasted little time sending a message to his team, pulling veteran goaltender Henrik Lundqvist after a Jochen Hecht goal put the Sabres up 3-2 early in the second period.

Alex Auld is not in net for the Rangers now. He has played remarkably well against Buffalo in his career, winning five of seven decisions. He has made five stops in just over six minutes of action to keep New York within a goal.
