The Kansas City Chiefs have many defensive, as well as offensive, holes to fill this year.

The Chiefs defense, how do i say this nicely, Sucked!

Sure, when everyone was on there game it wasn't bad, but that only happen once, maybe twice.

With a Nose Tackle, Inside Linebacker, Outside Linebacker, and Secondary, the Chiefs defensive line might have looked decent.

I think if you give the two young Defensive ends time to develop, they can become something special.

On the offensive side of the ball, the Chiefs need a Wide Receiver, Left Tackle, and other inner linemen. Even though I say Brandon Albert can stay Left Tackle for now.

With that being said there is a lot of holes to fill but this Mock draft is going to be about mostly working on the Defense, with one or two offensive players.

First Round (No. Five)-—Eric Berry S,or Rolando McClain(Suh/McCoy if available)

Berry and McClain are both Defensive Monsters in this years draft.

Both players are on the field leaders and can help the Chiefs in a huge way.

Haley says he doesn't believe in taking Safeties this high, so I am starting to lean towards McClain.

Both are Outstanding players.

Second Round(No.36)—Jerry Hughes OLB

With Hali starting to hit his groove, the Chiefs were getting a decent rush, but still had one of the worst pass rushing defenses.

Hughes can start right now and instantly give more help to pressure the QB.

He had a great season in TCU, and can do the same thing for the Chiefs.

Second Round(No.51)— Arthur Jones, NT, Second Option Brandon Spikes , ILB

Arthur Jones is a NT from Syracuse, that I think would have been a first round pick, if it wasn't for a knee injury.

I think he can perform to a top caliber and be a run clogger when he is healthy.

I said Brandon Spikes for the second option, that is, if we don't go McClain.

Spikes isn't the fastest, but he knows football, and can be a leader for the team.

Third Round(No.68)- Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, CB/KR

I don't see many choice for defense here, and we need a Kick Returner, so lets get a back-up for Flowers and maybe, a replacement for Carr.

Carr is more of a nickel corner-back.

Fourth Round(No.102)— Tony Moeaki TE

Moeaki is one out of the two, offensive people I put on this list because I don't have any other positions for the Chiefs to use.

Moeaki is a sleeper in my opinion, but has had his share of injuries.

Fifth Round(No.136—Myron Rolle SS

The kid missed a year, but as a fifth round pick, it isn't that big of a deal.

Many players have come out of the late rounds and played better then a No. One overall pick.

I think has has the smarts to succeed

Fifth Round(No.142)—Blair White WR

He is the second offensive player I have going in this defensive minded draft.

Blair White can really be a difference in the game with his skills, and can help the Chiefs in the slot.

Fifth Round(No.144)— Austin English DE/ OLB

This kid is another sleeper.

He is one of those, under the radar kids, that can come onto the field on Sundays and make teams wonder why they skipped right over his name in April.

What did you think?

So remember, this is my Mock Draft of the Chiefs, mainly looking for defense.

Tell me what you think and if you guys have any other picks defensive-wise.
