Chris Bosh will head to Cleveland today...for a CAT Scan. The headline got me, too, when I first read it. Bosh will get checked out after taking an elbow to the face from Antoine Jamison. The latest reports state that Bosh will probably not return.

The official injury statement says that he suffered trauma on the right side of his face and nose. It definitely does not sound good for the Raptors

If in fact he does return, he will most likely wear a face mask. Rip Hamilton has made the face mask popular in the NBA. He started wearing the mask after breaking his nose several times throughout his career. His injury is nothing like Bosh's, so a mask may or may not be likely.

Who knows how serious the mental repercussions of the injury might be? Bosh is already a heavy perimeter shooter. The question arises whether or not he will drive again into the basket any time soon.

The Raptors have at least five more games left before the postseason, if they make it and hold onto the No. 8 seed. If the injury forces Bosh to sit out these next few games, there is a chance that we may never see Bosh in a Raptors uniform again. For now, the fate of Bosh's future in Toronto is up to the doctor and team statement.
