After the McNabb trade, it is almost obvious that the Redskins will pick a tackle ahead of the Chiefs. So I predict that Russell Okung will go second overall and Bryan Bulaga will go fourth overall.
Okung and Bulaga are big names on the Chiefs wish list. If Bulaga goes before the Chiefs pick that means Okung is gone to and Bulaga is highly considered by a lot of experts to be Scott Pioli's guy and I admit I want Bulaga more than any other player in the draft other than Russell Okung.
This is a easy scenario to figure out it almost comes to your head when you think about the Chiefs.
But, it is an a lot tougher situation to figure out if Tampa Bay picks Berry ahead of the Chiefs.
So what would you do Chiefs fans if Okung, Berry, and Bulaga are off the board?
If you did a survey on Chiefs fans on asking them who they want in the first round, Rolando McClain would probably have the most tallies.
If Bulaga is on the board and Detroit and Washington selected say Okung and Bruce Campbell and Berry is gone, then the pick would come down to Bulaga and McClain.
Dan Williams is the best nose tackle in the draft and I would love having him, but would hate trading out of No. 5.
It could happen as much as I don't like it, but I really like Dan Williams. I just don't like this scenario.
Trent Williams is my number three best offensive tackle in the draft and thats offensive tackle not left tackle.
Trent Williams would be great to have on the Chiefs as a right tackle, but KC needs a left tackle and Trent Williams does'nt have the ideal size and experience for playing the blind side. It could happen, though.
As insane as this might sound it could happen, on Mike Mayock's draft board on his top five safeties he had Earl Thomas ahead of Eric Berry being the number one overall safety in the draft.
So if Russell Okung gets drafted 2nd overall, Eric Berry gets drafted 3rd overall, and Bryan Bulaga gets drafted 4th overall the pick would come down to Rolando McClain-Earl Thomas-Trent Williams-Dan Williams.
