My Wrestlemania 27 Prediction Card

Wrestlemania 27 will take place at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta in 2011.
Well that to many Pro Wrestling Fans is a painfully long time to wait as we come off the heels of "The Grandest stage of Them All" Wrestlemania 26. So I have decided while I wait I will give my predictions on what eight matches I would like to take place at Wrestlemania 27. I will give the stipulations, match types and the storylines leading to these matches.

Cruiserweight Championship: Ladder Match

Evan Bourne vs Shelton Bejamin vs Tyson Kidd vs Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler(intercontinental) vs The Miz(United States) vs Yoshi Tatsu

If there is no more Money In The Bank match this would be a great way to replace the excitement and reintroduce the Cruiserweight title.

The match more than likely would be full of holy s**t moments and highflying spots. The winner should be Evan Bourne just for the fact he is one the best cruiserweights in the WWE and he should have the belt around him.

Unification Match: Womens and Divas Championship Scramble Match

The purpose of this match is to unify the womens belts because with the cruiserweight belt returning there would be to much titles to count.

This match would be a way to utilize all of the top women competitors sqauring off to be first unified Womens champion. The match would be Mickie James (c) vs Beth Phenox (c) vs Michelle McCool vs Maryse vs Gail Kim vs Melina

Phenox scores the first pinfall on McCool with the Glam Slam. James scores the second pinfall on Maryse with the Mick Kick. Melina scores the third with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb on Phenox. McCool scores the fourth with a small package on James

The final pinfall would oocur with Maryse and McCool fighting on the apron and both then being clotheslined by Phenox. Kim hurricarnas Phenox to the outside. James hits the jumping ddt on Melina. Kim climbes the top rope but is seen by James. James goes for a arm drag but kim reverses it to a Eat Defeat from the top rope and gets the three count.

Diva matches on wrestlemania are usually called bathroom breaks so i thought this match and Kim as champion would be a great way to reinjuvenate the womens division.

WWE Unified Tag Team Championship Match

The match would be Chris Jericho and Jack Swagger(c) vs Edge and Christian.

The storyline would be after months of fueding between Swagger, Jericho, and Edge. Edge would end up on top of both Jericho and Swagger as World Heavyweight Champion. Jericho would then take Swagger under his wing making him his protege and form the tag team of Y2SWAGGER. They would win the WWE Unified tag team belts from The Hart Dynasty and eventually cost Edge his Title. Y2SWAGGER would week after week beatdown Edge. Christian would then come to Edge's rescue and reunite E&C.

The promos would reek of awesomeness with a lot of humor but also show the tense rivarly between Edge and Jericho along with Christian and Swagger. The mixture of skill and strength in Y2SWAGGER would give them the advantage heading to wrestlemania.

Christian and Edge would finally defeat the powerhouse tag team of Y2SWAGGER and capture the WWE Unified Tag Team Championship at wrestlemania with a spear killswitch combination.

Retirement Match: Loser Must Retire

Rey Mysterio vs Batista.

This match would be the end to the "You were suppose to be my friend" fued these two men had.

A month before mania Rey would announce to the WWE Universe that he has sustained to many injuries in his career and would be retiring right now. Batista would call out Rey and say he always knew he was a coward and he is retiring to never have to face him ever again. This would lead to Batista challenging Rey to one more match to retire him and beating him down to get it. Rey would agree but say Batista would also have to put his career on the line.

The match would have a lot of hype in it with the crowd being behind Rey but Batista would win with a powerbomb when Rey goes highflying. After the match Batista would break character and hug it out with Rey.

I dont see Rey staying long and he has always been a favorite of mine and i see this as a great way for him to go out.

Randy Orton vs CM Punk

This is a match that many people want to see with Orton as a face with a attitude now and i want to. Orton would be a great guy to rebell against CM Punk and The Straightedge Society.

This fued begins with a interaction between The Rock and Orton with The Rock saying a guy like Orton has no attitude and wouldnt last a minute in "The Attitue Era" , Orton would then slap The Rock. Orton would be suspended for two weeks and escorted by security. Orton enters the parking lot but becomes surrounded by security and smirks but is attacked from behind by The Straightedge Society(Luke Gallows, Kane, Big Show, Matt Hardy and Serena.) and placing Orton on Punk's shoulders for a GTS.

CM Punk says he did it as a favor for The Rock but it was really a favor to Randy Orton because he has a addiction to violence and if he joins the Straightedge Society he would be cured.

As Punk cuts his promo he notices a hooded fan having a beer in the front row. He tries to save the fan but it is revealed to be Orton who preceeds to take out The Straightedge Society. Orton lines up a punt on Punk but Gallows takes the hit for Punk. Punk gets out of ring and stares at Orton with SES laid out around the ring.

The match would be great with Punk having the advantage going for a GTS but Orton landing on his feet and hitting the RKO out of nowhere.

World Heaveyweight Championship Match: Hell In A Cell Triple H vs John Morrison

Triple H vs John Morrison

This fued would resemble the Triple H Hardy fued on smackdown in 2008 but with Triple H as a heel. It would be John Morrison constantly trying to win the World Heavyweight Championship and accomplish "the boyhood dream" but always being short. Triple H would will go back to his all powerfull heel gimmick and mock Morrisons effort at winning (like in the picture)

Triple H would say Morrison is a second rate Shawn Micheals that doesnt deserve to be in the same ring as him and if he wants to prove otherwise he would have to beat him in a match where he would have to put his body and mind on the line and cant come out the same, HELL IN A CELL.

Morrison would have the early advantage but Triple H would hit a big move and begin to use the cell to beat on morrison. Some highlights would be Triple H using a ring bell to bust Morrison and then pedigree him on it and Morrison superkicking Triple H off the cell to the announcing table below.
Morrison would win the match to have his reign as World Heavyweight championship.

With the WWE entering a new era pushing young guys this would be a great way to put a stamp on it as I see Morrison as really deserving to be a World Champ.

Undertaker vs Sting

"The Phenom" vs "The Icon" This match would be the pride of WCW vs WWE.

After Sting is announced to be entering the WWE Hall of Fame at Atlanta Sting requests a match to be against Mr. Mcmahon at Wrestlemania 27. Mcmahon says he is retired from the ring. Sting responds by saying he doesnt believe him and he is just as retired as when he told Pipper he was retired but managed to wrestle Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 26.

McMahon would say if he wants to really go against him and avenge WCW going under he would face one of the biggest faces that was in the WWF that is still around The Undertaker.

Althought these two man are not in their prime there would be great buildup to their first encounter. The promos would be great and intriguing with Undertaker saying Sting may be the greatest talent to wrestle in WCW but he is nothing in WWE and especially going against him at Wrestlemania. Sting would say he is trying to bring justice for WCW but also the 18(or 16) victims of Undertaker's mindgames at Wrestlemania that robed them of their careers. Sting would instead play mindgames on taker.

The match would have good working and storytelling.The match would end when Sting locks the Scorpion Deathlock but Undertaker powers out and reverses it to a Hells Gate.

Undertaker isnt going to go 18-1 at the hands of Sting but the encounter between the two outlaws is enough of a shocker.

WWE Championship Match: No Disqualification

John Cena(c) vs The Rock

The Dream Match we all want to see.

The whole thing would begin with some guest host standing on stage faking excitement but then turning around and being Rocked Bottom by The Rock who says "Finally The Rock has come back to Monday Night Raw"

Later that night after Santino does his best impersonation of The Rock we are informed The Rock has become the perminate GM of Raw.

The WWE Champion John Cena comes to the Rock's office to say hello and he is gald to see him but The Rock says he knows he doesnt like him and he should stop his bad acting. The Rock then slaps Cena and Cena looks to retaliate but is told he cannot touch him as GM.

The Rock would be a heel saying he hates Cena because he claims to be the next Rock but there would never be another "Great One". The Rock would say Cena is nothing compared to the Rock and he doesnt want him as the face of his brand.

This would then see The Rock trying to find opponents to take away Cena's belt but Cena would find ways to retain his championship. As two of the best mic workers in the past decades these two man would have great promos with Cena finally challenging The Rock saying if he doesnt want Cena as champion he would have to take it from him.

The match would definitely have an epic feel with near falls, signature moves, breaking announce tables and highlights including Cena doing the People's Elbow and The Rock holding Cena up for The Rock Bottom while dong the "you cant see me." The Rock would come on top in the end and win the WWE Championship for the eighth time in eight years.

I know most people dont think this match should be for the WWE Championship but I thought it would be good if they have The Rock as this guy with all of this power and control (similar to Mr. Mcmahon) over everything holding the WWE Championship. I couldnt resist wanting The Rock to win and im not a Cena Hater but this would be a good swerve that can continue the Cena Rock fued with Cena winning the title back after Wrestlemania.
