Renzo Gracie is considering a move to the lightweight division following his fight against Matt Hughes at UFC 112 next weekend.
"It's so easy [to cut weight]," Gracie told MMAWeekly Radio. "Right now, I'm 178, and I have to eat a lot so I don't drop eve more weight. I can walk around at probably 170, 173, so it's easy to make 155."

Since Gracie is a small welterweight, he is contemplating the weight division switch, similar to his Brazilian jiu jitsu student Matt Serra, who previously fought at 155, but currently sits in the welterweight division.
However, Gracie knows that before he makes his final decision to change weight classes, he will have to face arguably the greatest former welterweight champion in UFC history.
"Right now, I have a huge task, which is to face Matt Hughes," Gracie said. "So I can't think about B.J. I can't think about Sakuraba. I have one ugly face in my head and that's Hughes, nobody else."
Gracie will look to beat Hughes in order to avenge two losses. In past years, Hughes has defeated Gracie's cousin Royce, and his long-time student, Serra.
If Gracie graces the lightweight division, he seems intent on having a rematch against champion B.J. Penn, who beat him via unanimous decision in 2005.
