At WrestleMania VIII in Indianapolis, a crowd of 62,167 fans jammed into the Hoosier Dome to see "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Bret "Hitman" Hart become two-time champions.

Savage defeated Ric Flair by pinfall to win the WWF World Heavyweight Championship for a second time, and Hart repeated the feat by pinning "Rowdy" Roddy Piper to become a two-time WWF Intercontinental Champion.
