The Redskins acquired Philadelphia Quarterback Donovan Mcnabb from the Eagles tonight in a trade and it may be the right move to get a championship to Washington. The Philadelphia Eagles traded McNabb to the Washington Redskins for a pair of draft picks on Sunday night. The Eagles will receive a second-round pick (37th overall) in this month’s NFL draft and either a third- or fourth-round pick next year.

This move will bring the Redskins a superbowl championship and I have 5 reasons why.

1)      Revenge—the Eagles gave up on Donavan and then they were foolish enough trade him within the same division? This will come back to haunt them in a big way. Mcnabb will make sure that the Eagles regret this move and in the end the Redskins will finish above the Eagles in the standings.

2)      The missing piece—the Redskins have been close every year.  They have had injuries, and other issues but the main reason they have failed is the quarterback play. Enter Donovan Mcnabb and enter a winning season.

3)      Mike Shanahan—Dan Snyder brought in a new coach but with all the changes this year he brought in the right coach. He can run the ball and brought in running backs to pull off his offense all he need was a QB and in Mcnabb they are now complete. Shanahan will use Mcnabb the right way and coach this team to a championship.

4)      Leadership—with all due respect to Jason Campbell he never brought to the huddle what the skins needed; leadership.  Mcnabb brings that to Washington when they need it most and he will motivate the players around him to play to the best of their ability.

5)      Finally Snyder gets it right—Dan Snyder always finds a way to get a free agent in the off-season. Usually he over pays and that free agent is a bust.  He finally will get the best player at the position he needs the most. With that motivation the Redskins have what it takes to win it all!
