At WrestleMania IX in Las Vegas, 15,045 fans at Caesars Palace were in attendance to see the WWF World Heavyweight Championship change hands twice.

In the main event, Yokozuna pinned Bret Hart to win the title after his manager, Mr. Fuji threw salt in Hart's eyes as the Sharpshooter was applied.

After the match, Hulk Hogan came out to tell referee Earl Hebner what happened.

Fuji issued a challenge to Hogan for a championship match, which he readily accepted.

Fuji accidentally threw salt into Yokozuna's eyes at the beginning of the match, allowing Hogan to execute a clothesline and his signature legdrop to win the title in 23 seconds.

The victory made Hogan a five-time WWF champion.
