As you all know, Jack Swagger is now World Heavyweight Champion thanks to his Money In The Bank contract. Now the problem is, who will he face at Extreme Rules ? Obviously, it will be either Chris Jericho or Edge but how will the creative team go about this ?

Recently, I saw an article claiming how Chris Jericho could go psycho heel and be obsessed with winning the World Title but I have a feeling this idea would be a failure considering how it was just make Jericho look more foolish. Next week with Edge vs. Jericho, I see Edge winning making  it 1-1 between the two and becoming number one contender.

Edge vs. Swagger doesn't seem right though considering its EXTREME RULES and we've never seen Swagger go extreme even when he was on "Extreme" Championship Wrestling. So basically if this is the route is goes this would be the more lackluster main event that goes on before Raw's main event.

If Jericho wins the Match next week, then it would be Swagger vs. Jericho at Extreme Rules which in my mind, would be a better match. 2 of the best pure wrestlers going at it but it might be a little boring seeing as it won't get that extreme between the two unless Jericho's psycho gimmick comes into play, then it would be great.

Honestly, I would like it to be Edge vs. Swagger at Extreme Rules. They would put on a more "Extreme" match. But I think Edge should lose this match. That way, the Edge/Jericho feud could go on and not be over the World title. That leaves other opportunities to be open.

People like Morrison and McIntyre could challenge for the World Title and get more exposure. I think the WWE actually did the right thing by giving Swagger the title but they should have him challenged by other under-card competitors  and give Swagger and the other young superstars a chance to shine.

Thanks for the read.
