Raider Fans Get Huge Break; Flozell Adams Released From Cowboys

Late Friday, Flozell Adams was released from the Cowboys along with teammate Ken Hamlin. While Raider Nation shouldn't care about Hamlin, Flozell Adams is a huge player for Oakland. 34 year old Adams could shore up Oakland's LT issues for 2 or 3 years, and then they could draft a tackle. This is huge for Oakland if they can sign him because he is proven, and that means Oakland can afford to got D-Line on Pick 1, and an Al Davis pick (Spiller, Mays) would not kill us. Pending the signing of Adams, Oakland should package picks and players for the #2 pick being shopped by Detroit

Acquiring the #2 Pick from Detroit would allow us to get the most bust proof D-Lineman in the draft in Ndamukong Suh. Davis and everyone fell in love with Suh, but as a distant possiblilty. If Adams shored up the LT spot, Ndamukong Suh and Vlad Ducasse can be our first picks, and the lines will be rather decent for once. Now about McNabb....
