Blue Devils Recruiting Update:2010

Commits: Kyrie Irving, Josh Hairston, Tyler Thornton, Carrick Felix

Considering: Trey Zeigler

The Blue Devils incoming class looks very good, with a strong showing by Irving at the All-American game. He is a flashy point gaurd who will be very effective next season off the dribble as well as developing a decent shot.

Hairston will add mor power to the frontcourt, and he will most likely not see a great deal of minutes behind the Plumlee's and Ryan Kelly. He will need to work on his footwork to be a dominant big man in the ACC.

Thornton will be a solid backup to Irving, who knows what to do in clutch situations. If he can hit an outside shot he will see minutes also next season.

The new recruit is Carrick Felix, who is a junior college transfer who will most likely sit out a season learning the Blue Devil way next year. His athleticsm is compared to that of Gerald Henderson, and he will be a monster athlete.


Duke is still attempting to get the shooting guard from michigan, trey zeigler, who is a great shooter, and will be tough for Coach K to get him, with Michigan lureing right in his backyard. This would be a huge recruit and would further establish Duke for next year.
