The Top QB Sleeper in the 2010 NFL Draft

Michael CooperContributor IOctober 9, 2016

The top QB in the 2010 NFL draft that not many people are talking about is by far the ex Fordham QB John Skelton. One NFL draft analyst on the NFL network said " He has the arm strength of Joe Flacco." Skelton is 6ft 5' and weighs at 245lbs. At Fordham he always played with a chip off his shoulder because he was not heavily recruited by any of the schools in Texas. While playing at Fordham Skelton threw for a total of 9928 yards , 69tds and rushed for 565 yards and 14 tds. At the combine he finished in the top ten in the 40 yd dash , vertical jump , broad jump , and the 20 yard shuffle. Although he does need to work on his feet motions his throwing motion is solid. This guy can play and is a great pick up for any team. Due to obscurity and his footwork he'll be a 3rd rounder or lower most likely.
