The New York Giants have re-signed punter Jeff Feagles, who is currently 44 years old. I question this move, because even though Feagles is very accurate, his leg strength certainly ain't what it used to be.

In another interesting move, the Giants signed veteran 31 year-old safety Deon Grant, who was released from the Seahawks.

Now, correct me if I'm mistaken, but don't we already have safeties Kenny Phillips, freshly signed Antrel Rolle, and C.C Brown? Well, scratch C.C Brown from that list, the Giants withdrew his tender meaning that he is pretty much gone.

Too bad, I thought C.C Brown was decent, but definitely was not great. He recorded 69 tackles and 3 forced fumbles last year. I am not too sure whether kicking him out for Grant is such a good move, but hey, Grant recorded 3 interceptions and 78 tackles last year - pretty good stats.

I am not happy about re-signing Feagles, although we did sign Jy Bond, the punter who used to play Aussie rules football. Perhaps there could be some competition here? Heck, this kid is 14 years younger than Feagles, I am pretty sure he can kick farther. Our kick-offs last year not that great, we need better production from a punter.

What do you guys think?
