Basketball games are won time by time from the gutsy 3-point shots that some of these players make.
Since the 1980 season, they have made the biggest change in all of basketball history, they created the 3-point shot.
The players that can execute these shots have to use precise aim and power.
These players aren't given enough credit for their ability to make the basket in clutch performances.
This article is acknowledging the top 10, 3-point shooters, throughout all of basketball history.
10. Vernon Maxwell
Vernon (Mad Max) Maxwell — 1988-2001

3-Point Shots Attempted — 3931
3-Point Shot Percentage — 32.0 percent
This player was one of the most outstanding 3-point shooters.
His prime year was in 1994, at the NBA Finals with his clutch shooting, had won the game for the Rockets over the Knicks.

Dan Majerle was probably one of the best players that Phoenix has ever seen. This sixth man was voted in 1992 on to becoming a three-time all-star starter from his 3-pointers.

3-Point Shot Percentage — 39.7 percent
3-D was an outstanding player in his NBA career.
He got his nickname 3-D by his ability to make consistent long 3-pointers in the game.
In the 1995/96 year, this player made the record with 267, 3-pointers in one season.
6. Peja Stojakovic

3-Point Shots Attempted — 4256
3-Point Shot Percentage — 40.0 percent
Stojakovic has hit 1,571, 3-pointers in his career, good for fourth all time and second among active players behind Ray Allen.
He has placed in the top ten, in both 3-pointers made and attempted, four times.
Leading the league in makes in the 03-04 season when he hit his career best 240.
But Stojakovic is much more than just a gun slinger.
His lifetime 3-point percentage is 40.2 percent, which is the ninth best among active players.

Steve Nash is one of the best players in the league. He is the best active player for 3-pointers with a 0.4256 percentage.
He is a two time MVP, a seven time NBA all-star, and a three time NBA first team player, all have been caused through his outstanding 3-pointers.
4. Ray Allen

3-Point Shot Percentage — 39.6 percent
Ray Allen is probably one of the most consistent 3-point shooters currently in the game.
He is second place on the NBA's list of all-time 3-point field goals made, trailing only Reggie Miller.
3. Larry Bird

Larry Bird has shown one of the most exemplary performances through his 3-point shots.

Bird would also finish in the Top 10 in 3-point percentage eight times with a career high 42.7 percent in the 84-85 season.

He is the NBA leader for all time 3-point percentages.
He had a .4540 percentage of 3-pointers.

3-Point Shot Percentage — 39.5 percent
Reggie Miller isn't just the greatest 3-point shooters of all time, he is also one of the best players that have ever played the game.
Reggie Miller has exploded the all time record of 3-points ever made in a career.
With his whopping 2,560 3-pointers made, this was said to be an unbreakable record.
It was only in the recent years that Ray Allen, has come extremely close to demolishing this unbreakable record.
For the time being, Reggie Miller is definitely the greatest 3-point shooter.
