These are 10 of the most emotional and dramatic college football games I have ever seen. Story lines galore, raw courage, dramatic upsets, stunning defeats, and tears. Many of the games changed the face of college football forever. Some caused dynasties to stumble and others caused continued debate for a playoff system in college football. All were dramatic in nature and emotional to all who witnessed them. These were the games of the decade. These are the Top 10 best college football games I have ever seen and in some cases most likely will ever see. These are my top 10 greatest college football games I have seen.

The lowly Ole Miss Rebels had not won an SEC game since 2006 came into the swamp huge underdogs and left it in stunned silence. This game saw the awakening of Ole Miss Football under Nutt. In the Aftermath Tebow gave "the speech" that lead to a championship title.

This game ended the longest winning streak in college football history. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish had beaten the Navy Midshipmen 43 consecutive times since 1963. With over 80,000 in attendance the Midshipmen were lead by their coach Paul Johnson who organized drive after drive that lead to a Navy win.

After going 0-12 in the 2008-09 season the 09 Washington Huskies desperately needed a sign of life for a once proud program that had gone dormant. A change in coaching changed things for the better for the purple huskies. In a defensive game the Huskies were able to stop Goliath Southern Cal's offense and lead by brilliant Jake Locker resulting in an upset that sunned the college football world and awakened the Husky program.

In an absolute shootout that only the state of Texas could produce, Mike Leach's Texas Tech Red Raiders upset the #1 Texas Longhorns. With only 8 seconds left in the game Graham Harold threw a pass to Michael Crabtree hoping the wide out could get out of bounds but instead got around a Texas defender and scored with 1 second left on the clock stunning the Longhorns and ruining their BCS title hopes.

Shattering the BCS myth of invincibility of the top flight programs of the BCS conferances vs. the non- BCS conferances Boise State proved why we need a college football playoff system. No one gave the men from Boise a chance to win against giant Oklahoma. The Sooners were heavily favored over the WAC champions Broncos before the game. The Game was perhaps the greatest college football game ever played with spectacular plays that included a hook and lateral , a statue of liberty play, and a game changing interception td return. The ending in OT was perhaps the greatest ending in all of college football history resulting in a win for underdogs everywhere and a marriage proposal to boot.

#1 The Greatest Upset Ever- App State Shocks World
App State was supposed to be cake walk for the #5 Michigan Wolverines. There was no line on the game in Vegas. No one thought for a second that it was possible that the lowly App State team could even hang with the Wolverines for one half let alone beat Michigan. However, in a blow for underdogs for the rest of time Armanti Edwards lead his team to the greatest sports upset of all time in college football. Forever more coaches every where will use this game to say " why not us?"
