Chris Jericho defeated Edge to retain his WH Title in 15mins 47secs:

The match: This match was really solid. Great counters from both men and some good selling from Edge. Is there any move that Jericho can't counter into the code breaker? That move was phenomenal.

The outcome: I was delighted with this outcome as it allows this feud to develop and garner more interest and more personal investment.

Reasons for outcome: Couple of reasons. One being that there had to be a high profile heel victory at Mania. Another being because Jericho deserved to be rewarded for carrying the company over the last 12 months. Also, as I said, it allows this feud to continue.

Where to from here: I can see this feud continuing as far as Summerslam, or taking a break and being reignited for Summerslam. I would hope to see a ladder/TLC match between the two at Extreme Rules.

Match Rating: 8.5/10

Jack Swagger wins the MITB Ladder Match in 13mins 42 secs:

The match: First of all, kudos to anyone who predicted a swagger win. The match was solid enough with some high spots(Kudos to matt hardy for the majority of them) but this match was average going by the MITB previous high standards.

The Outcome: Never saw it coming. But, I welcome it if it leads to new blood in the main event scene.

Reasons for outcome: WWE could only pick this match for the annul Wrestlemania shock result. It would have been hard for them to change the outcomes of other matches. Also, maybe they have renewed faith in Swagger.

Where to from here: If a gun were put to my head, I'd say Swagger will cash in at Extreme Rules. I can see the briefcase being cashed in on the Raw champion as it will really shake the title picture up(which is badly needed now Superman is champ again). However, it will definitley be cashed in before the end of the month.

Match rating: 7/10
