Sean Green and Bobby Parnell Expect To Go To Triple-A

Keith BennettCorrespondent IMarch 29, 2010

Adam Rubin, whose new employment starts when ESPNNewYork.com launches Friday, has been told by a major-league source that Sean Green and Bobby Parnell both are expected to open the season at Triple-A Buffalo. In Rubin"s view, he told me in a e-mail, Hisanori Takahashi and Figueroa will likely make the Opening Day roster, which would leave room for one of Jenrry Mejia or Kiko Calero. Calero may stay in camp during opening season. The Mets want his arm to get stronger. He sign late during spring training. Jenrry Mejia stay on roster til Kiko Calero is ready. Thr Mets look like there taking there time with Mejia. Seem like a good move. He still very young!
