The WWE has long combined the sex appeal of its women with the intensity and brawn of its squared-circle superstars. The women were on display at Wrestlemania 26, the flagship event of WWE.
The women are tight, fit, and hot, and wrestling fans love to see the ladies wrestle each other in next to nothing. The WWE gave the fans what they wanted at Wrestlemania 26 with a "10-Diva Tag Team Match" which featured the leading ladies of sports entertainment. Whether you are familiar with the women or not, here is a look at the nine women who stole the show.
Mickie James
James, 30, has been in the WWE since 2005 and is a five-time WWE Women's Champion. James' side job, or secondary career, is that of country music artist.
Kelly Kelly
Kelly is one of WWE's buxom blonds on its RAW brand. The 23-year-old Kelly was drafted into the WWE during the 2008 WWE Draft when she was the only woman selected out of ECW.
Eve Torres
Torres, 25, arrived on the WWE scene in 2007 as the winner of the 2007 Diva Search. Torres, who wrestles on the WWE Raw brand, is a former dancer for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Gail Kim
Kim is one the longest tenured WWE women wrestlers. Kim debuted in 2002 and won the WWE Women's Championship in her debut match. She left the WWE in 2004 for TNA, but reappeared in 2009. She went to the Smackdown! brand upon her return to WWE, but later was switched to the Raw brand.
Beth Phoenix
Beth Phoenix is one of the most recognizable female wrestlers on WWE's Smackdown! brand. Phoenix made her WWE debut in 2006 and is a former Women's Champion.
Michelle McCool
McCool, 30, is a wrestler on the Smackdown! brand and is the current WWE's Women's Champion. McCool made her WWE debut in 2004.
Layla El
Layla El is a former dancer turned wrestler who made her debut on the Smackdown! brand in 2006. Layla El's resume includes dancing for Carnival Cruise Lines, for Kanye West and for the Miami Heat. She is the winner of the WWE's 2006 Diva Search.
Maryse Ouellet
Maryse Ouellet made her WWE debut in 2006. She currently wrestles on the Raw brand and is the reigning WWE Divas Champion. The French-Canadian Ouellet appeared in two editions of Playboy including the cover of the 2007 edition of Girls of Canada.
Alicia Fox
Alicia Fox made her WWE debut in 2006, but still remains one of the lesser known and visible Divas. Fox, 23, has wrestled for both the Raw and Smackdown! brands.
