Rangers Come to Terms with Russian Superstar Vladimir Denisov

Greg CaggianoSenior Writer IJuly 11, 2008

Today, New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced that the club has come to terms with Vladimir Denisov.

This could quite possibly the biggest signing of the off-season for the Rangers because Denisov, a defenseman, scored a golden eight points in sixty six games while playing for Lake Eerie of the AHL.

According to "Rangers Report", this signing has nothing to do with the new transfer agreement the National Hockey League and Kontinental Hockey League.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed and I'll close this article with what my source had to say, "Brian Leetch, your records are safe."

By the way, this is my fiftieth New York Ranger article, and I'm so glad I didn't quit the other night as I said I would.
