You all may be wandering what this means and thats a fair question. I know that the casual basketball fan probably watches all the highlights on ESPN without watching the actual game and hey i don't blame you. No one can watch all the games and no one wants to. There will be games where you would rather turn the t.v. off but this is an on going issue for me, fans who base their knowledge off ESPN.

Now I'm one of those people who tries to watch every games thats on t.v. because not only are they entertaining but i learn from them. Im a Laker fan as you probably already know and i make arguments everyday towards the "Kobe vs. Lebron" topic. I don't mind people telling me Lebron has better stats, Lebron gets more blocks, Lebron won MVP because i know most of these people just sit at home at night watching the recaps of the games. There is a reason why Lebron gets on all the highlights and yes it is because hes a "freak of nature" and i don't deny that. Even I watch those highlights and go "Wooow" everytime but people have to look through that and see that highlights are highlights, they don't show how good they are. Lebron is a great player and i respect him but to all the Lebron fans out there please look past the highlights and don't base your perspective on that because ESPN loves someone like Lebron due to his diverse game.

Lebron may be a great player but it is due to athletic ability not merely on skill. This is my main argument towards Lebron fans. My argument towards Lebron being better than Kobe is that we all know Kobe is going over the hill and that his time is almost up but yet without his full athletic ability that he used to have and with the injuries Kobe still performes like a superstar. That is because he learned to adjust to the game by working on every aspect of the game and because he did that the game is now easier for him because he can fall back on his skills. Lebron on the other I believe he is merely playing off pure athletecism and some skill and when his body starts to ware down he will now have his jumping ability to fall back on.
