Jordany Vladespin stated at second base for the Mets and was I for 4 with a stolen base, batting leadoff, while also making a few nice plays in the field. "He' got to be added to that mix of of good at-bat he put on the game," Jerry Manuel said of the young second baseman, according to New York Post. His scouting report says Valdespin has some obvious gifts: he's a plus runner with a live body. Moreover, Mets people complemented the work he did in instructional in the DR after season's end. Scouts, who liked his speed, scoffed at his baseball instincts. With his speed, Valdespin could be a top of the order threat if he learns to control the strike zone. Valadespin look like a future second baseman for the New York Mets. Luis Castillo seems like his days soon be over. Vladespin and Reyes at the top of the lineup Wow!
