Cubs In 3D

Kudos to the NHL for broadcasting the first ever hockey game in 3D.

Fans watched from the Madison Square Garden theatre as six state of the art cameras captured the action between the Rangers and Islanders Wed. night.

Early reviews claim the broadcast was terrific entertainment, despite the Rangers 5-0 drubbing of its cross-town rival.

To the best of my knowledge the NHL is the first of the big four to do so, but wouldn’t it be grand if MLB was next!

If I’m the Cubs, why not build a 3D theater in the new Triangle building? Seriously, who wouldn’t want to watch the Cubs and Cards play in 3D!

Maybe the additional revenue prevents future advertising eyesores around Wrigley like, I dunno, a giant Toyota sign in left field.
