According to recent reports Manchester City will accept a four million pound loss on Georgios Samaras.

It is believed the Greek international striker will move to Celtic for a knockdown fee of £2m in the next few days.

Samaras was signed from Heerenveen for £6m in 2006 and City had agreed a provisional fee of £3m when they loaned him to Celtic last season.

However, City are desperate to offload the 23-year-old and have agreed to write off £1m from that amount to ensure a transfer goes through.

  1. He'll be good for you and offers something different.

  2. He's absolute garbage and I would have paid £2m to get rid of him. The worst City player I,ve seen in the top flight although Charvet and Frontzek run him close. Apart from ManU, there's nowhere else I'd rather he moved to.
