Nikolay Davydenko Ruled Out Of Miami

Nikolay Davydenkoof Russia has been ruled out of the Masters 1000 in Miami with a wrist injury, Davydenko struggled through his 1st round match in Indian Wells but then had to withdraw due to that injury. Davydenko was one of the form players on the tour towards the end of last season, he won the ATP World Tour finals in London at the O2 Arena, beating Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal along the way before stunning US Open Champion Juan Martin Del Potro 6-3 6-4 in the final. Two years ago Davydenko stunned the tennis world when he won the Masters 1000 event in Miami beating Nadal in the final in straight sets. Had Davydenko been fit he would have been one of the favourites to win the title this week. Britains Number 1 Andy Murray is the defending champion in Miami, last year he defeated Novak Djokovic in the final.
