The Baltimore Ravens have signed defensive end Cory Redding to a two year contract, according to multiple sources.
The Seahawks acquired Redding and a fifth round pick from the Detroit Lions for pro bowl linebacker Julian Peterson last off season. He only recorded 20 tackles and a pair of sacks last season in his unimpressive stint with Seattle.
After losing Dwan Edwards to the Buffalo Bills in free agency, the Ravens needed to replace the depth they lost from his departure.
Redding comes in with good size (292 lbs), at the defensive end position for the Ravens 3-4 defense.
