Brett Favre is now in his annual depression stage. He is now debating if it was right to retire—again!
I grew up watching Brett Favre play, and I have nothing against him. But seriously, Brett: retire already!
I'm sick and tired of him retiring emotionally every year, and then coming back to the Packers for what is supposed to be a one-year deal.
And if he does want to come back, Green Bay shouldn't take him up on it this time. I believe that it's time for a change. They need to establish a new No. 1 quarterback. Sooner or later, Brett Favre won't be able to bail them out anymore.
Favre should be happy with his career. He has broken records, won a Super Bowl, and gone to Pro Bowls. Anyone with the type of career Favre had would be happy to retire with his stats.
So I seriously think he should shut up, retire peacefully, and practice his golf swing. All parties involved will be better off.

You are 15? How did you grow up watching him play? Were you even born yet when he started playing with the Packers? The only people who should even be running their mouths about whether or not he should play again are born and bred cheeseheads.

Yeah, cause what fan wants a legend on their team anyhow. Besides Green Bay has 3 other QBs to rely on, 2 just being picked up last year. So, why go with the guaranteed Favre-who holds 2 big time NFL records when they could go with a "ROOK" who hasnt played a full game yet. Ice Rodgers or show him the door...its a no-brainer

Cheeseheads should love Favre for all he's done there. And I think that if they're going to bring him back make it as management. And the reason they should'nt bring him back because it is easier to develop a QB in a situation where he has a good team that can still win games on a bad night. Instead of developping one in a rebuilding stage.

I think the entire situation is real crummy especially for Green Bay's management team. However, even with all of this, Brett still has 2 years left on his contract. If he actually goes through the reinstatement process he should be allowed to play with the pack as starting QB. The packers were not even on the map prior to Brett and I think they owe it to him to make his decision his own way, albeit even if it has disrupted nearly all of Wisconsin. You cannot let Brett go to another team to play especially when he swore up and down that he would RETIRE a Green Bay Packer. Come on Brett. Don't let us fans down!

As for Green Bay's managment team, Thompson, and some of Bretts team mates have really showen their asses. What a bunch of fools!! Brett Farve is a LIVING LEGEND, and will always be just that! He plays for the love of the game, not the money as so many people have said. He also has no ego, as others have said. He is not only the best QB. that the Packers ever had, he is a very compassionate man. People need to realize; all that Brett has done for the many of childern out there that are disable and are at some sort of disadvantage. They need to chek uot his FOURWARD FOUNDATION, which is a non-profit organazation. The Packers owe Brett Big time! after all that he has done for them. If it was,nt for Brett there would have been no Packers. Brett still has a few good years left in him LET HIM PLAY< as the STARTING QB. Rogers himself still has alot to learn!! GO GET THEM BRETT!! You have so many people behind you! I sure hope the Packers know what they are doing, as I know your fans including myself, just might start a RIOT!!!
