Wow how time files. Loyal Rocket fans have enjoyed winning basketball games for a while now, years even. However the tide has changed even with Kyle and Tervor coming back last night and a Rockets win we are now hanging around .500. Is it really possible that Oklahoma City, a current 6 seed, could make the playoffs and not the Rockets? Oh no! It’s a sign of the end! I should have listened to that crazy man in downtown Houston when he said “Turn to God and Repent the end is near.” Wrong crazy man! It’s not the end of the world but definitely the is end of this roller coaster ride of an NBA season that’s seen us beat our rivaled Spurs 3 out 4 times. Now a King, Carl Landry losing another tooth during the Dallas game, but also gave up almost 70 percent shooting to our ARCH enemy, the Jazz. It’s painful how in years past we could count on Memphis and Oklahoma to be bottom feeders. We can take comfort and solace that next season our expectations should be Finals our bust, with a starting five of Yao, Scola, Battier, Martin, and Brooks. P.s. That not even including if Daryl Morey can pull of a deal landing Bosh or someone awesome like that! So look forward to a mighty powerful team next season
