With Moises Alou out for the rest of the season, having Ryan Church's head all screwy, Omar Minaya has to go and get at least one corner outfielder.

The man he needs to get is Matt Holliday.

Holliday is a veteran of 4 years. A lifetime .322 hitter. This season Holliday has played 76 games with 14 home-runs and .343 average. He's playing for the Colorado Rockies who are currently in 4th place in the National League west and are 15 games under .500 and 7 games out of first.

The Rockies do not have that many quality pitchers, so the Mets will have to shop some of there better pitchers in there farm system.  The pitchers I Would chose are Scott Moviel, Brant Rustich and Nathan Vineyard.

All three pitchers have pitched this season for the Savannah Sand Gnats.  Moviel is 8-7 in 18 starts with a 4.55 ERA.  Rustich is 1-4 in 15 games of relief and 4 starts with a 5.34 ERA. Vineyard is on the disabled list currently he was 0-2 in 2 starts with a 14.63 ERA.

If the Mets are unable to aquire Holliday, they should call up Fernando Martinez. Martinez is the Mets top prospect, he is batting .298 with 4 homeruns in double A with the Binghampton Mets
