Andrews may be done in NFL
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, via ProFootballTalk.com, the Cleveland Browns will not pursue guard Shawn Andrews even though Browns general manager Tom Heckert was previously with Philadelphia Eagles who Andrews just got released from.
That most likely means Andrews is done in the National Football League.
Andrews missed all of 2009 and played in only two games in 2008 and in addition to his history of injuries he is also battling depression.
Ross Tucker of SI.com called him one of the best guards in the National Football League for a couple of years.
For Andrews to miss that many games to injury is an indicator that he wasn’t taking care of his body as he should have.
In the end, it is just another example of how the NFL has turned into a what have you done for me lately league.
