I’ve played in pretty much any fantasy baseball league that’s out there, from keeper to split-season, daily roto to weekly head to head.

I’ve experienced the excitement of being at the top of your division where you check your team daily, and also the bottom, where all of a sudden you realized on September 15th that you haven’t looked at your team in three weeks.

But what I have never done in all my years playing fantasy sports is run my own Fantasy Baseball League.

Now, thanks to Bleacher Report and its partnership with CBSSports.com, I’ve been given the opportunity to be a league Commissioner this year. I’ll be providing weekly updates on Bleacher Report (the best way to find them would be here ), not only for my league owners to enjoy and archive, but for readers following along to see how competitive and entertaining fantasy baseball can be.

However, I would recommend that you get in on the action as well. And it’s not as painstakingly time-consuming as you might think.

Through the Bleacher Report and CBSSports.com you, the Bleacher Report reader/writer/fan, can create your own league as a CBS Fantasy Baseball Commissioner for a 50 percent discount.

I’ve played fantasy baseball on nearly every format that is available, and the one website I keep coming back to year in, and year out is CBSSports.com, which is incidentally the web’s most powerful league manager and has won 8 out of 9 Fantasy Sports Trade Association Awards.

When you create a league you get complete control. You can customize your league any way that you want, whether it be rules, scoring system, number of teams, even the comm wire on the top of your page.

You can move content, format your home page the way you want to. Believe me when I say that this is no ordinary site.

In addition to that, you get live scoring and stats so you can follow along as your team racks up points. You can also set your settings so that you grab your friends and run a keeper league for a couple of seasons, and really cash in on those prospects that you’ve got your eye on.

They provide you with expert analysis that provides up-to-date information on all players and teams. Whenever I am looking for information on a player or team, especially for my drafts, I look to CBS Sports for a thorough prediction.

There is also a live chat/league messenger option so that you can trash talk your rivals on a nightly basis (or gang up on whoever you want to).

Two final things: You can manage your team from any mobile device or Smartphone, including the iPhone (I have done this and am doing this myself).

If you need any further prodding, sign up by clicking the link at the end of the column and receive a 14-day free trial so that you can check it out before you decide you’re ready to run your own league.
