According to the Washington Post Tim Tebow has scheduled a workout with the Redskins.

The Redskins are now in a pack with: The Bills, The Seahawks, The Patriots and the Browns to have workouts with Tim Tebow.

While The Bills, Seahawks and Browns all have dire QB needs, the case of the Redskins and Patriots might lie in the connection with Urban Meyer !?

Now if any coaches in the NFL would be the right fit for Tim Tebow it would have to be Holmgren, Shanahan and Belichick.

For all the discussion around Tim Tebow - I think that if these three coaches wants to take a closer look at Tebow that alone says something about his potential as a NFL QB.

Would he be a fit in the Redskins system. Well with the offense going through a major overhaul, a bunch of talented young wide receivers one of the best TE duos and some veteran hard nosed running backs - this could be a good fit for Tebow.

  1. The offense can be molded around his strengths
  2. He can develop with the young WR
  3. The TE's will help him tremendously in the short passing game.
  4. The RB duo will take a lot of load of his shoulders as he wouldn't have throw all the time.

In many ways the setting could be much of the same as for Sanches with the Jets - where the offense did't need Sanches to make spectacular plays and the defense was the solid backbone.

The Redskins on the other hand would get the leader on and off the field that they so desperately need, and the Shanahans would get a QB that would do anything they ask of him and a QB they could mould to their desires.

Then they wouldn't NEED Okung in the 4th (as Tebow is left handed) but could trade down and get more O-line talent for the price of one.
