The NFL draft is always an unsettling time for anyone in the Raider Nation, as we are always left wondering if we will finally get someone worth the pick or if our pick will yet again get added to our long line of draft busts. Let's look at what our options this year are :

Fresh off a solid pro day this morning Joe Haden could be donning the black & silver next year. He reportedly put up 4.41 and 4.39 40 times at his proday down from the 4.56 he ran at the combine. He has great vision, footwork, and would be quite the compliment across from Nnamdi. However with the money we just gave to number 21 and the other glaring needs on our defense, chances are low Al and the Cable guy pull the trigger in this one.

He didn't run the 40 at the combine as a result of a nagging hamstring. Also wasn't feeling well because of a chron's disease flare-up. However Mcclain is a B-E-A-S-T! Hands down the biggest baddest linebacker in the draft, he is sure to make any defense that much better at LB but with our recent acquisition from the Browns ( Kamerion Wimbley ) this again seems like another long shot.

Played for Iowa. Has been very impressive so far, and has continued to climb higher and higher up the boards.Enough said. Bulaga is gonna be one hell of an offensive lineman and he has very impressive numbers that have only gotten better. He will be a serious option and will surely be the guy if the next man on my list is gone.

Some call him the next Warren Sapp. They very well could be right. He is fast, strong, and very smart. And if by some miracle of god he is on the board at 8 he will be our guy. I have even read that we could trade down to make sure that we do get him. Rumor is S Hiram Eugene, a 6th rounder, and the #8 pick to Detroit for the #2 pick and a 5th rounder. All I can say is if this happens we will have a very scary D-line!!!
