The Minnesota Twins are a very loaded team.  They have the starting pitching, middle relief, infield and outfield with some pop in their bats, 2 MVP's and multiple all-stars.

With the lose of Joe Nathan, the twins will have the depth to take the lead in almost every game, but can they keep the lead in the Ninth inning.

They have in house talent that may be able to take over the job with Matt Guirrier, John Rauch and Liariano.  Liariano is probably the best of the three, but with his mood swings and pouting after a bad outing makes him a very scary closer.

John Rauch has some experience in closing with the Nationals, but if Washington got rid of him i don't think he would be a fit for the role.

Matt Guirrier has the stuff but no experience in the role.

I believe the Twins need to package a deal for Heath Bell or another quality closer to get through this season and possibly next season.

It's been very obvious this spring that Glen Perkins is not in the Twins plans to be a starter, and they have multiple depth in the outfield.  Package Perkins, an outfielder or two to get that closer that they desperately need.

They have the talent to make a serious push this season, but they will have to close out games to get there.
