Warning, when Lyman"Cyborg" Good is coming to a fight, and you might wanna be near for when it happens, you will more than likely catch the same fever that Good has already put into many happy MMA fans.
The New York City native is just ten and 0 but after winning largely with unanimous victory's Good has Bellator and it's fans buzzing about the potential of the 6'0 ft 170 pound 25 year old after a pair of brutal doctor stoppages in his last two fights.
The kid has an unbelievable upside, having great accurate striking along with a spectacular ground game in which the rear naked choke seems to be a favorite method of ending fights.
After a spectacular rear naked choke was used to put down Hector Urbina, "Cyborg" Good then went on to continually demolish Jorge Ortiz and Omar de la Cruz in consecutive beatdowns that have raised the stock of the Bellator product quickly.
Good, who hails from Spanish Harlem is physically a dream and he does not waste that stacked strength from anybody that I have yet to see him fight. This kid is a true talent in all areas of the game and it seems that just making it out of his rough neighborhood isn't enough for Mr. Good.
And if he doesn't want to submit you he is more than willing to knock you right on your ass. And it appears Omar de la Cruz, who is no slouch himself, seems slated as the next opponent for Lyman, but I fear that the same result for the welterweight purse, estimated to be around 100'000 dollars U.S, will be more than enough incentive for the young and hungry fighter.
Good however is no longer flying under the radar ,with Bellator getting all the ducks properly lined up to make a run at a couple of already well established organizations, no names needed here.
But the fact is Lyman Good is infectious, and so far a short hospital visit is all anyone has needed but a vaccination just might well be in the works because after all Lyman "is that "Good, and hopefully after the speculation of a big television deal goes through as planned , we will all get to see a lot more of the NYC kid.
