Within the last 24 hours a big rumor was stirred up by ESPN's Buster Olney that there was internal discussion from the Philadelphia Phillies of a possible trade for Albert Pujols sending Ryan Howard to St Louis. Cardinals GM John Mozeliak was quoted as saying "We are not trading him.......Period. Tony LaRussa said the Media can be useful but also abusive. In my opinion very abusive. Albert Pujols dismissed the rumor also.

ESPN is the biggest shoveler of bulls*** in this world. I mean look at the over coverage of the big market teams and the apparent lack of respect for the smaller market teams. The local media in New York, Boston, Chicago, Florida, LA and now Philadelphia can really stir the bulls*** till the cows come home. Their arrogance that their teams are intitled to any and all future hall of famer is treason to the sport. Screw your arrogance and let me set the record straight once and for all.

Albert Pujols is and will finish his hall of fame career with the St. Louis Cardinals. He has been quoted as saying that St Louis is my home that he couldn't imagine playing nore would he wanna play anywhere else. Lets not forget the charities he has most notably the Pujols Family. Raising money for kids all over the world more notably his home country the Dominican Republic. Lets not forget the Cardinals went and signed Matt Holiday long term, signed Brad Penny he might see a career resurgence with the help of Dave Duncan and of course a nice weapon to have in any teams line up........A .300avg switch hitter Felipe Lopez. You put those together with the Real 2009 Cy Young Award Winners Carpenter and Wainwright(Sorry popularity contest winner Tim Lincecum) you might be looking at a team that would give the Phillies a run for the National League Pennant. Not to mention send you Yankee fans crying to Wall Street.

So I ask you sportsfans why would the St Louis Cardinals trade what I consider(along with a bunch of others) the greatest hitter this generation has every seen possibly the greatest ever? Not to mention the cleanest beacon of hope this side of the Steroid Era. St Louis is in my opinion the greatest baseball town in the world and classiest. More class the Yankee Stadium or the rest of the arrogant pollution floating around the other big market teams.

And from a business point the Cardinals would be commiting business suicide trading the man that sells out the stadium every home game. Not to mention future hope winning more World Titles.

Never a Red Sox, Never a Yankee Never a Dodger Never a Phillie ALWAYS A CARDINAL Get over it!!!!!!!!!!!!
