Seattle Seahawks' Deon Grant Released

Bubba GillContributor IMarch 16, 2010

Deon Grant has been released by the Seattle Seahawks.

Adam Schefter ESPN has posted on his Twitter account. Grant's time served here was nothing short of great. He was the one DB I as a fan could count on. He was said to have 17 million in un-guaranteed money left on his contract.

With that being said I do firmly believe that Seattle will draft Eric Berry or Taylor Mays come April.

If Berry is still there at #6 don't be surprised if Seattle pulls the trigger on him.

If by chance Berry is gone then look for Mays at #14.

Much like last year when Seattle let LB Julian Peterson go to Detroit, only to have drafted Curry.

Is there a pattern here?

All things aside Grant will be missed.

Hope he doesn't go to Arizona or SF. So he can take his revenge on us twice a year.
