If you have paid any attention to the UCONN Huskies women basketball team, then you are aware that they are on a 72 game win streak and are showing absolutely no sign of slowing down. They were, of course picked as a #1 overall seed in the tournament, however they were put on the same side as Tennessee. Does anyone actually believe that Tennessee stands a shot against this squad? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I realize that UT, Nebraska and Stanford are good squads, but we have never seen a women's team this talented. Could we not all agree to that?

Let's take a look at their record this year against top 10 teams, shall we?

#2 Stanford 80-68

#7 North Carolina 88-47

#3 Notre Dame 70-46, 59-44 and 76-51

#7 Duke 81-48

#8 West Virginia 80-47 and 60-32 (conference championship)

This doesn't even count the dominating performances they put on Georgetown (84-62), Florida State (78-59), St. Johns (66-52) and Oklahoma (76-60).

Everyone has heard of Maya Moore and Tina Charles, but who allot of people aren't seeing as much are Tiffaney Hayes, Caroline Doty and Kalana Greene. Between the three of those players, they have averaged 29.4 ppg, 10.3 rpg and 7.8 apg (Caroline Doty is second on the team with 118 total assists).

I really don't think I will surprise anyone with saying I will pick Uconn to win the women's tourney and not have a single game within 15 points.
