The Cleveland Indians made some roster cuts this morning, cutting the spring training roster to 56.

JASON GRILLI, ALEX WHITE, and ZACH PUTNAM were all reassigned to minor league camp.

KELVIN DE LA CRUZ was optioned to the Akron roster.

White had two appearances this spring, pitching 1.2 innings, and giving up no hits while walking two.

Grilli went down with an injury before he could make a spring training appearance. He will have right quad surgery which could keep him out out of action for the whole year.
