It's March Madness time again people! This weekend is the greatest in all of sports. Four solid days of wall to wall college basketball! This is Christmas for grown ups.

Now, I know I watch a lot of college hoops all year. But I mostly watch the SEC and other Florida schools. The rest I see mainly when they are playing one of my teams. I'm sure a lot of you are the same way.

Then there are those who don't watch a whole lot of hoops until this time of year. You'll probably watch at a sports bar or at a friends' party with other people. Some of those people will be hoops junkies who know everything. You'll want to sound like you know what's what in the tournament right?

So here is a list of players who will no doubt be making an impact if you happen to be watching the South Regional.

Kyle Singler, Duke

97698590

The Duke Blue Devils are the number one seed in this bracket. One of the stars is a forward named Kyle Singler. Singler averages 17.5 points per game and pulls down 7 rebounds per game.

He was the MVP of the recent ACC Tournament as he led his Blue Devils to the championship over Virginia, Miami and Georgia Tech.

His shooting percentage is down a bit this year from his previous years, but he shoots almost 40 per cent from three point land.

He is one of three reasons that Duke is the top seed in this bracket. His running mates Nolan Smith and Jon Scheyer make this Duke team tough to guard.

Luke Harangody, Notre Dame

97647947

Notre Dame's Luke Harangody averages 22 points per game with 9 rebounds. His 49 per cent from the field is outstanding for a non center. He can take it to the bucket or pull up and stick a jumper on you.

He recently sat out a couple of games with a bum knee. He came back in time for the Big East Tournament which the Irish got to the semi finals. He should be well rested for the Big Dance.

Also his teammates had to step up in his absence and pick up the slack. This could make the Irish even better for the Tournament. So you may have a couple of chances to catch Mr. Harangody.

Scottie Reynolds, Villanova

97670192

If you watched the Final Four last year, then you might remember this guy, Scottie Reynolds of Villanova. This guy is a future NBA star.

He averages 19 points per game with 3 assists and 3 rebounds. He shoots 40 per cent from three point range and is the go to guy for one of the best teams in this bracket.

At some point in this tournament, Villanova will win a game because of Scottie Reynolds making a clutch play. Count on it.

Last year he put 'Nova in the Final Four by making a last second drive to the hoop to hit a layup and beat Pitt. What will he do for an encore this year?

Donald Sloan, Texas A+M

94269546

Donald Sloan of Texas A&M averages 18 points and 3 assists per game. He is the Aggies team leader both statistically and emotionally. He rallied the team by shaving a #3 on his head to honor teammate Derrick Roland, who broke his leg in the 13th game this season.

He is deadly from the outside, making a ridiculous 45 per cent of his three point shots.

He is a senior this year. This year's senior class is the winningest in Aggie history. After playing in the Big 12 all year, the NCAA's will seem like a vacation. Look for Sloan to come up big.

LaceDarius Dunn, Baylor

97650106

If you are sensing this is a guard heavy bracket, then you would be correct. LaceDarius Dunn of Baylor averages 19 points per game and shoots a deadly 43 per cent from three point land. He also grabs 5 rebounds per game.

He was named to the NIT All Tournament Team last year when he averaged 21 points and 7 rebounds in the two Final Four games in New York. This year he hopes to lead the Bears to a different Final Four. He and his Bears just might do that.
