NCAA Tournament: The Sleepers That Can Make The Most Noise

Ah...March Madness is finally upon us!

Some conference tournaments are done, and some have just begun. Every single game so far this year is leading up to the moment where you hopefully get announced into the NCAA Tournament: Selection Sunday.

That moment for 65 teams will be here on Sunday. The rest of the teams have to stay home and try to recuperate from their broken hearts and get ready for next year. For the 65 teams who make it, it is only the beginning for them. It’s almost as if one season has just ended, and the next one is just about to begin. But the new season is the one that matters the most.

Once teams are announced, analyst after analyst will begin to try to predict what will happen throughout the NCAA Tournament. During this process, they often seem to forget how good a few of the teams really are.

We call these teams “sleepers”. I am a huge fan of sleeper teams, because it proves that you really never know what can happen.

Throughout my presentation I will give you a list of several teams that I would classify as sleepers teams going into the tournament. Enjoy!
