So far in 2010, NASCAR has seen its share of thrills and surprising drivers have their turn in the spotlight. Kevin Harvick is currently the Sprint Cup points leader after four races and as impressive as that is, there is a shocking stat that comes with Harvick each and every weekend, he has not won a points paying race since the 2007 Daytona 500.

Sure Kevin is a great driver but to see him not win is just crazy because he has been in a position to win almost every weekend except last season when the entire RCR camp was just struggling. Kevin has won the last two Budweiser Shootouts and did win the All-Star race in 2007 at Lowe's but Kevin just hasn't been able to seal the deal in a points paying race which is cause for concern to me. I know how good Harvick is behind the wheel but come on, when you can't win races then you are just another driver on the track, not a huge name like Jimmie Johnson or Denny Hamlin or Kyle Busch who seem to win each and every year.

Kevin has won eleven times in his career and has made the chase in 2006,2007, and 2008. Harvick also has a very successful Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series teams where he seems to win a lot in every-time he runs in those series. People may harp on Kevin for not being able to deliver in the same way on the Cup side, but you know that will change soon because Harvick is running way to good not to end up in victory lane sometime in 2010.

So the question has to be asked, when will Kevin Harvick win again? It actually could be anywhere because Harvick is so consistent at all the racetracks on the Sprint Cup scene as he has won at a Super speedway, a mile and a half, a short track, and even at a road course so he can win at any track. Kevin is a special kind of talent who is in his contract year with RCR so he is trying to prove how good he is to all of NASCAR in order to maybe get with a better team that is suited for Harvick. Nobody has a clue where Harvick will be at in 2011 but for 2010, can Harvick win some races? That seems to be the million dollar question right now.
