Well the two warriors once fought, Lyoto Machida came away with the victory, case closed, that makes "The Dragon" the better pound for pound fighter on another website that I will not mention.
Well I call for a recount or at least some sort of real theory to back up this ranking, RANK, being the key word that I would describe in my analysis. If this site uses the long ago fight between the two then they should just fire the whole staff and hire somebody with a grasp of the meaning pound for pound.
For one, a 155 pounder who bloated up so badley to fight a larger light heavyweight should not count at all in my book, not that my book is a work of art, just opinions that I like to think count for something once in a while.
First off, I would switch the criteria around to this, HAVE YOU COMPLETLY WIPED OUT YOUR OWN DIVISION. Answer for Penn , without a doubt, for Machida, after winning a very debatable decision over Shogun Rua and with a rematch made minutes after the fight, no Lyoto, you haven't even cleaned out your division ,yet.
Now let's get a little deeper into the discussion, could BJ move up a class and give almost every one in the division a fight, I think so, could Lyoto go to heavyweight and clean most of the front porch off, maybe if he bribed a couple of friends with a case of beer and some delicious hot dogs fresh off the grill, they could make a day of it.
Now as you can see this is not going to be a long article, you probably had your minds made up before you read this, but remember this is my opinion so feel free to give your explanations on your way out and I will kindly read them, and then either agree with you or argue with you, hey man , it's your choice, this is my opinion.
