Quick who had more TD's in their rookie season, Hines Ward, Steve Smith or Hayward Bey.  The Answer Hayward Bey.

For all of those talking heads, and disgruntled Raider fans that wish to so quickly place the "bust" tag on the Oakland Raider's WR Hayward Bey, I would say not so fast.  Many great NFL WR's do not instantly come into the leage and beast there rookie campaign, with Randy Moss being the main exception to that way of thinking.  Jerry Rice's rookie year he only had 3 TD's and 49 Recptions in 16 games.  In the 15 games of Carolina WR Steve Smith's rookie year he only had 10 recptions with 0 TD's.  Super Bowl MVP Hines Ward's rookie year was a disappointing 15 recptions, 0 TD's in 16 games.

The best news to come along this offseason for Raider Fans should be the reports of DHB already at the Raiders Facility training with Bruce Almighty, only if all our players had the work ethic and drive to succeed as DHB shows, hint hint Mr Russell and that means you Jamarcus in case you thought I was talking about Gary Russell.

It is not DHB's fault we took him too early in the draft, it was obvious he wasn't ready to be thrown into the line up so quickly, but then again what rookie really is, but believe me when I tell you that DHB is going to start turning some heads this season, and just maybe if you are lucky I'll save you a seat on this kid's bandwagon when it is plowing through AFC West Secondaries this season.

Lose win or tie Raiders til I Die!
