On the same day that he reported that Brady Quinn is on the trading block, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter has reported that former Carolina Panther quarterback Jake Delhomme is scheduled to visit the Cleveland Browns on Thursday, March 11.

This news adds even more credence to the possibility that Quinn will get moved before the start of next season.

Delhomme was released by the Panthers on March 5 after a rough season in 2009.

A 12-year veteran, Delhomme would most likely not be counted on as a long-term solution to the quarterback situation in Cleveland. What he would bring to the table is veteran leadership and guidance for whoever the Browns choose as the future of the team.
