The Big Show's Most Embarrassing WrestleMania Moments
Some wrestlers have those iconic WrestleMania moments, which live in the fans hearts and minds. Hulk Hogan's slam of Andre the Giant to the SuperKick to retirement, certain performers know it's showtime for WrestleMania.
Paul Wight, the Big Show, seems to believe the opposite. Poor Show's most iconic WrestleMania moments are neither iconic nor legendary, but down right embarrassing.
The Show is one of those underrated performers who gives everything to the fans. He is not a technical master, or a specialist, he just goes to work everyday. Thankfully he has more skill than certain wrestlers, because without it, the Big Show could be the 7'0" Santino.
When thinking about the WWE Hall Of Fame, Big Show does not immediately come to mind. Wight has the longevity and the title reigns to go to the Hall, he just does not have the legendary WresteMania moment, only embarrassing ones.
These are the Big Show's five most embarrassing WrestleMania moments.
5. First one out
WrestleMania XX, Fatal Four Way, each competitor has a McMahon in his corner, Big Show should have gone with Linda.
Big Show is the largest competitor in the ring, but only lasts four minutes. He gets punked by the Rock and Mankind. Foley nails the Big Show with a chair and then the Rock Bottom by the people's champ.
The next elimination does not take place until the 19 minute mark. Pretty bad showing for someone calling himself the Big Show.
4. Losing to Undertaker in handicapped match
The embarrassment comes two fold for the Big Show. First he has to team with Albert at WrestleMania, then the two cannot defeat the Undertaker.
What makes the match worse, Nathan Jones comes in and slaps around the Big Show allowing for a Tombstone to Albert, thus ending one of the worst booked and worst matches at WrestleMania.
3. Cena slams Big Show
Super Cena gets two WrestleMania moments thanks to the Big Show.
WrestleMania XX, the two open up the show for the United States title. In the end, the Big Show is picked up by Super Cena and is FUed for the strap.
Five years later, Super Cena slams both Edge and Big Show for the belt. To make it even more embarrassing, the Big Show had to profess his love to Vicki just to get into the match.
2. Mayweather punks out the Show
7'0", 450 pound wrestler could possibly NEVER get beat by a 5'7", 140 pound boxer, right?
A pair of brass knuckles and a shot to the mouth and 10 seconds later, we have the Big Show's No. 2 most embarrassing moment.
The only reason this match was not higher on the list is because it was a decent fight. To show some legitimacy to having Mayweather win was having the entourage get involved, allowing Floyd to put on the knucks and give a shot to the Show.
But still, when you are 7'0" and fighting someone who is almost a third of your weight, do not be stupid, grab them, slam them, and end it as quickly as possible.
1. Big Show tries Sumo
First off it was embarrassing enough to have to see the majority of the Big Show's back side in the sumo attire.
What makes Big Show think he could beat a World Champion in Sumo? Akebono weighed in at 500 pounds and was a master of Sumo. One minute after the match started, we have the Big Show's biggest embarrassment.
Lets just hope he does not go any further, like put on a Stormtrooper helmet and walk through walls.
