Another Warrior gone.
Mikael Pietrus, according to various sources, has agreed to a four-year deal with the Orlando Magic. He's expected to be paid below the mid-level exception ($5.6 million) and hold a player option for the fourth year.
Bill McCandless told Janny Hu of the San Francisco Chronicle, "I think it's great for him. At 29, on a team that we think is growing and obviously has the best young (center) in the game, period, there will be good players around him."
Despite the shocking take-off by Baron Davis, and now Pietrus, Chris "HUH" Mullin remains as though he's watching an entertaining movie, one he has certainly witnessed before
It seems as though B-Diddy has assumed a trend in Bay Area NBA basketball the last couple of weeks: Depart now!
Although, MP (Pietrus) could not be labeled as a star player, his freakish athleticism, defensive energy, and competitiveness places him as an important piece the Warriors relied on.
But that's all history. Air France has taken off and might land any second now to find his new locker next to the beast.
Au revoir Monsieur Pietrus.
Mully, you're on the hot seat.

You would not be lamenting the departure of Monsieur Pietrus if you'd seen him step on the sideline as many times as i have. or heck, just disappear from games. we will miss his defense though.
